About Us

The Planned Giving Forum of Greater Sacramento is a regional professional organization dedicated to:

• providing education opportunities and resources for planned giving professionals
• promoting planned giving as an effective philanthropic option for donors
• providing a networking system for practitioners and professional advisors

PGFGS advances the local nonprofit sector’s understanding of the incredible opportunity presented by planned giving. With $59 trillion expected to be transferred to the next generation by 2061, the potential is enormous and our focus is to make that opportunity accessible to our nonprofit community.

Members of PGFGS include development officers for non-profit organizations, consultants, attorneys, accountants, financial planners, insurance agents, stockbrokers, trust officers, among other professionals interested in gift planning.

PGFGS is a regional chapter of the National Association of Charitable Gift Planners. When you join the PGFGS, you can choose to join the national membership as well.
